- This workshop will introduce participants to visual learning, one of the most effective means for teaching thinking skills. Visual learning methodologies help students absorb knowledge and think meaningfully about a subject. Inspiration's integrated diagramming and outlining environments draw on such methodologies and work together to help students comprehend concepts and information. Learn how to use Inspiration across the curriculum for: Brainstorming; Webbing; Diagramming; Planning; Critical thinking; Concept mapping; Organizing; Outlining.
This workshop will also cover how, after working in Inspiration to brainstorm, organize, and outline, students can open their work in their favorite word processor to finish the writing process and prepare their papers for publication. Attendees will also be shown how to use Inspiration to create a storyboard for a PowerPoint presentation and then export it into PowerPoint."
